The 2014–15 Teen Advisory Board organized Teen Night, an evening of interactive activities for high school students to engage with The Noguchi Museum and make artwork of their own. Participants made their own custom designs by printing on tote bags. They also used colored tape and papers to create murals, as well as collaborate sculptures using cardboard. TAB members led tours and drawing sessions in the galleries. Throughout the year, TAB visited museums around the city including the Rubin Museum of Art where they created an exchange with the Rubin Teen Guide Council. Each group created a personalized tour for each other at their respective institutions. TAB also visited Noguchi’s studio and met with staff members to learn about the behind-the-scenes work at the Museum. To learn more about Noguchi’s sculpting process, TAB members participated in a hands-on workshop on stone carving.
