The 2006–07 Teen Advisory Board organized an event for their INterpret project to invite high school students to experience The Noguchi Museum with fun activities, snacks, and music. During the event participants created a free-form mural wall, created mixed-media art installations, and went on a scavenger hunt through the Museum, matching a photographed detail with the artwork in the galleries to encourage close looking. Participants were also able to explore the exhibition of Shin Banraisha: A Cultural Memory. INterpret was featured in a write up on the New York Times. Throughout the year, TAB met once per month to discuss planning their events and projects, as well as being involved with outreach events such as the Baccalaureate School for Global Education Community Mixer. In addition, TAB worked to maintain a MySpace profile. TAB learned about the curatorial process and brainstormed innovative ways to bring young people into The Noguchi Museum.
