Preguntas a solaramendi@noguchi.org.

In partnership with Project Luz, The Noguchi Museum offers a free Spanish-language photography program for adults (16 and older) of all levels. Artist Sol Aramendi, founder of Project Luz, guides students in learning introductory photography and video techniques and image composition.

Taking inspiration from the stone sculptures of Isamu Noguchi, the experimental films of Marie Menken, and from natural organisms such as mushrooms, participants will explore how photography and film can capture growth, connections, and change over time.

The classes will be in-person at the museum. Participants will need their own camera or cell phone and a notebook. Participation is free. Students are expected to attend all sessions and complete weekly assignments. Space is limited. For more information, contact solaramendi@noguchi.org.
