Carve and Combine: Working with Balsa Wood

Taking inspiration from sculptures made by Noguchi in the late 1940s and 1950s, this program will focus on shape, form and balance. Following time spent together looking at a select group of artworks in the Museum's galleries and learning basic woodworking techniques in the studio, participants will have the opportunity to create their own balsa sculpture.
