Open Studio: Experiment with Color

Saturday, April 6, 2024
11 am–2 pm
Free with admission

Open Studio is geared towards families with children, but open to visitors of all ages. Explore artworks in the galleries and participate in art-making activities in the Education Studio (Level C). Families are encouraged to work together to explore themes connected to the art on view.

This month, explore the vivid colors of Toshiko Takaezu’s painting and ceramic glazes in Toshiko Takaezu: Worlds Within and experiment with brushing, dripping, and pouring wet media to create an ink painting with layers of color.

Free with admission; no RSVP required. Please join before 1:30 pm if you are participating.
