Learn about Isamu Noguchi’s approach to stone through materiality and mark-making. Participants will explore Noguchi’s sculptures in the galleries and apply observed techniques for stone carving in the studio using basic hand tools such as chisels, hammers, and rasps.
For ages 18 and older; previous experience is not necessary. Space is limited and advance registration is required. Program fee includes admission to the Museum and materials.
