Tour Público (Museum Tour in Spanish)

Los tours públicos del museo en español ocurren el tercer miércoles de cada mes a las 1 pm. Cada tour está limitado a diez participantes, por orden de llegada.  

Los recorridos del museo son conversacional y exploran obras seleccionadas de la colección y la exposición Elogio de las cuevas: proyectos de arquitectura orgánica de México de Carlos Lazo, Mathias Goeritz, Juan O’Gorman, y Javier Senosiain, mientras se presenta  la visión del artista Isamu Noguchi y su interés por formas y diseños naturales. En acuerdo con el interés de Noguchi a la experiencia personal de cada visitante, alentamos a los participates que compartan sus observaciones e interpretaciones durante el recorrido.

Public tours in Spanish occur on third Wednesdays at 1 pm. Each tour is limited to ten participants, on a first-come, first-served basis.

Tours are conversational and explore select works in the Museum’s collection and the special exhibition In Praise of Caves: Organic Architecture Projects from Mexico by Carlos Lazo, Mathias Goeritz, Juan O’Gorman, and Javier Senosiain while introducing the vision of Isamu Noguchi and his interest in natural forms and patterns. In keeping with Noguchi’s interest in the visitor’s personal experience of the Museum, groups will be encouraged to share their observations and interpretations throughout the course of the tour.
