イサム・ノグチは石一つ一つの特徴を認識し、安価な石や残り物、破片の石でもその特徴に注意を払いました。このクラスでは特別展「Salvaged Time 救助された時間」を通してノグチの作品制作の過程を探索し、その後どうやって柔らかい石を成形するのかを、彫刻の基本的な道具を使って学びます。

年齢制限１８才以上；未経験者歓迎です。席に制限がありますので事前の予約が必要です。授業料は材料費と入館費を含みます。

Isamu Noguchi recognized unique qualities in all kinds of stone, even the inexpensive or repurposed fragments of stones. Join us in exploring Noguchi’s artistic process in the exhibition Salvaged Time, and then learn how to shape soft stone in the studio using basic hand tools such as chisels, hammers, and rasps.

For ages 18 and older; previous experience is not necessary. Space is limited and advance registration is required. Program fee includes admission to the Museum and materials.
