Seen and Unseen is a monthly series of virtual tours for adults who are blind or have low vision, leading participants through interactive experiences with Isamu Noguchi’s art. Museum educators engage participants through verbal descriptions and conversation.
Noguchi ignored the traditional categories of “art” and “design” long before it became popular to do so. This month, explore sculptures typically labeled “design” and consider their relationship to “art.”
This free program is offered remotely, accessible by Zoom link and dial-in phone number. Program times listed are EDT (Eastern Daylight Time). To RSVP, please email education@noguchi.org or call 718.204.7088 ext 203.
