Virtual Hands-On at Noguchi: Drawings of Caregivers

Tuesday, November 17, 2020
7:30 pm–9 pm
$5 members / $10 non-members

Caregivers are playing important roles these days. Join us in learning about Noguchi’s primary caregiver, his mother Léonie Gilmour. Explore this special relationship between mother and son with teaching artist Luned Palmer and scholar Lisa Yin Zhang. Then, learn techniques for drawing from a photograph to illustrate the caregiver you’re most grateful for in your life.

Materials to bring to class: A photograph of a caregiver, drawing pencils, an eraser, and paper. Previous drawing experience is not necessary. Space is limited and advanced registration is required.

All registrants will be sent a link to participate through Zoom. Participants should have access to a computer, smart phone, or tablet with a microphone and internet access. Program times listed are EST (Eastern Standard Time). Please send any questions to education@noguchi.org.
