LIC Springs! is a community block festival celebrating Long Island City with live music, dance and performances, plus interactive lessons, art, fitness classes, outdoor dining, pop-up activities, games and more. The event is free and open to all ages.

Join Noguchi Museum Educators at the festival to learn more about Isamu Noguchi’s art through an interactive activity exploring ideas of balance, construction, and collectivity. Participants of all ages are invited to activate and play with life-size wooden assembly models for Noguchi’s interlocking sculptures. Educators will guide participants on how to collaboratively slot wooden pieces together to create a sculpture, building connections to the artist’s process and one another. All participants will be given a free pass to visit The Noguchi Museum.
