Free

Families with children ages 4–10 are invited to join Noguchi Museum educators and special guest artist Taisan Tanaka for art activities at Rainey Park, across the street from The Noguchi Museum. Learn about Taisan Tanaka’s and Isamu Noguchi’s artistic processes, and then work together or individually to make your own ink painting.

After registering here online, families can drop in to join us at any point during the morning or afternoon sessions.

Morning session: 10 am–12 pm
Afternoon session: 1–3 pm

All participants are required to wear a face covering and remain socially distant when engaging with Noguchi Museum staff, the artist, and other families. Materials will be provided in a kit, and families are encouraged to bring a picnic blanket to sit on while making art in the park.

Taisan Tanaka is a painter and calligraphy artist based in New York. Taisan started his career in Tokyo, and has exhibited globally including solo exhibitions and performances at Frankfurt in Germany, Oviedo in Spain, Stockholm in Sweden and more. taisanofficial.com
