Martha Graham Dance Theater

Martha Graham Dance Theater

1976
Metal, Plastic, Wood
Hearing of UCLA’s interest was sufficient reason to make a model of what was conceived as an experimental theater and museum for Martha Graham and for the sets I had made for her. This complex was to be on a 100-by-100-foot-square lot. My double homage to Martha and to my friend Buckminster Fuller, whose geometry I used for the dome.
