Center of Attention

Saturday, April 16, 2016 - 4:00pm - 5:00pm

Visitors are invited to engage with the Museum’s collection through these hour-long conversations around single works of art. Advance registration not required. Free with admission.

This month’s Center of Attention focuses on Tom Sachs' Bonsai, 2016. Bronze.

Made from over 3,500 individual castings of tampons, Q-tips, toothbrushes, and enema nozzles, this is the most elaborate bronze sculpture that Tom Sachs has created to date. Part of Tom Sachs: Tea Ceremony, a major exhibition culminating The Noguchi Museum's 30th anniversary programming, and the first exhibition at The Noguchi Museum by a single artist other than Noguchi.
