Benefit and Isamu Noguchi Award
On Tuesday, September 12, 2023, The Noguchi Museum hosted its annual benefit gala and presentation of the Isamu Noguchi Award. Marking its landmark tenth year, the 2023 Isamu Noguchi Award recognizes artist and writer Edmund de Waal, artist Theaster Gates, and novelist and editor Hanya Yanagihara.
The Noguchi Museum’s annual benefit raises essential funds to support its exhibitions, research, and programming, and the care of its renowned collection.

Noguchi at Night
Tuesday, May 3, 2022, from 7 to 10 pm, The Isamu Noguchi Foundation and Garden Museum hosted Noguchi at Night, a special one-night music and culinary experience to celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander creatives. Co-chaired by Danny Bowien, Sandy Liang, and Christine Park, the collaborative evening featured a solo acoustic set by Japanese Breakfast and a drum solo by Hisham Akira Bharoocha, with Danny Bowien, chef and owner of Mission Chinese, creating dishes to complement the performances. The event benefits the Museum and its 2022 Artist Banner project.
