**Please note that this program has been postponed. Registrants will be notified of an updated date soon.**

Join us on first Saturday mornings this summer for meditation and mindfulness in the galleries before the Museum opens to the public. This limited series is led in partnership with Mindful Astoria and offers a pause to bring us back to ourselves. Each session includes guided meditation and an extended conversation with one work of art. You do not need to have any prior experience with mindfulness or meditation to attend, and all materials will be provided.

This month, we will reflect on Isamu Noguchi’s granite sculpture Illusion of the Fifth Stone (1970).

For ages 14 and older; children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Advance registration is required. Program fee includes admission to the Museum. Scholarships are available if the cost of admission is a barrier to participation. Please email education@noguchi.org with questions.

Mindful Astoria is a meditation community based in Queens that practices regularly at Socrates Sculpture Park on Tuesday evenings and at Astoria First Presbyterian Church or online on Wednesday evenings. Sessions are designed for all experience levels and practices include mindful breathing, mindful movement, and loving-kindness meditation. mindfulastoria.wordpress.com
