Subway & Bus

Exit at the Broadway stop in Queens. Walk ten blocks west on Broadway towards the Manhattan skyline and the East River. Turn left onto Vernon Boulevard and walk two blocks to 33rd Road. Turn left. The Museum entrance is at 9-01 33rd Road, between Vernon Boulevard and 10th Street.

Exit at the Queensbridge-21st Street stop in Queens. At 21st Street and 41st Avenue, take the Q69 or Q100 Bus Northbound to Broadway. Walk 4 blocks west on Broadway towards the Manhattan skyline and the East River. Turn left onto Vernon Boulevard and walk two blocks to 33rd Road. Turn left. The Museum entrance is at 9-01 33rd Road, between Vernon Boulevard and 10th Street.

Wednesdays through Fridays you may also take the 7 train to the Vernon-Jackson stop in Queens. Take the Q103 Bus at 50th Avenue and Vernon Boulevard to Vernon Boulevard and 33rd Road. Make an immediate left onto 33rd Road. The Museum entrance will be on your left. Please note, the Q103 runs only on weekdays, once an hour, so please visit mta.com for schedules and information.
Sunday Shuttle Bus Service
The Noguchi Museum offers Sunday shuttle bus service between the Museum and Manhattan. Catch the bus at the northeast corner of Park Avenue and 70th Street (in front of the Asia Society). The return bus leaves from the entrance to The Noguchi Museum at 9-01 33rd Road (at Vernon Boulevard) and discharges passengers at Park Avenue and 70th Street. The trip takes approximately thirty minutes one-way.
The Bus runs on Sundays only.
Fare:
$5.00 for one-way, $10.00 for round-trip. Museum admission is NOT included.
Schedule:
Pick-ups in Manhattan (in front of Asia Society) at 12:30pm, 1:30pm, 2:30pm, and 3:30pm. Return trips from The Noguchi Museum at 1:00pm, 2:00pm, 3:00pm, 4:00pm, and 5:00pm. The bus holds twenty-five passengers, seated on a first come, first served basis.
Driving Directions
From Manhattan
Queensboro Bridge upper level
Exit at 21st Street. Turn right onto 21st Street and go north to Broadway. Turn left on Broadway. Broadway will dead-end at Vernon Boulevard. Turn left onto Vernon Boulevard. The Museum will be two blocks further on the left at 33rd Road.
Triborough Bridge
Take the first exit in Queens (Astoria Boulevard). Take first right onto 31st Street. Follow 31st Street south to Broadway. Turn right onto Broadway. Follow Broadway to the intersection of Vernon Blvd. Turn left onto Vernon Boulevard. The Museum will be two blocks further on your left at 33rd Road.
Midtown Tunnel
Stay right as you exit the tunnel and take Exit 14: "21st Street/Long Island City." Follow 21st Street north to Broadway. Turn left onto Broadway. Broadway will dead-end at Vernon Boulevard. Turn left onto Vernon Boulevard. The Museum is two blocks further on your left at 33rd Road.
From Queens or Brooklyn
Long Island Expressway Westbound
Take Exit 15 "Van Dam Street" (this is the last exit before the tollbooth for the Midtown Tunnel). Make a right at the first light, Van Dam Street. Go one block and then make a left onto Hunter's Point Avenue. Proceed along Hunter's Point Avenue and make a right onto 21st Street. Follow 21st Street north to Broadway. Turn left onto Broadway. Proceed on Broadway to the intersection of Vernon Boulevard. Turn left onto Vernon Boulevard. The Museum is two blocks further on your left at 33rd Road.
From the Brooklyn Queens Expressway
Exit at the Long Island Expressway Westbound. Continue to Exit 15: "Van Dam St.", the last exit before the tollbooth for the Midtown Tunnel. Make a right at the 1st light, Van Dam St. Go one block and then make a left onto Hunter's Point Ave. Continue along Hunter's Point Avenue and make a right onto 21st St. Follow 21st Street north to Broadway. Turn left onto Broadway. Broadway will dead-end at Vernon Boulevard. Turn left onto Vernon Boulevard. The Museum is two blocks further on your left at 33rd Road.
Parking
The Museum does not have a parking garage. However, parking is often available on the blocks around the Museum.
