Materials - Other Materials

Throughout his career Isamu Noguchi created sculpture from unusual materials. While working in Paris in 1928 he made a model for the first known neon sculpture, and his first manufactured object, Radio Nurse, was made of Bakelite. During the Second World War Noguchi used human bones to construct a model for a Monument to Heroes.
