Administration/ Community Development Internship

The Noguchi Museum seeks an intern for the Department of Administration to Assist the Director of Administration and External Affairs. This internship will provide an opportunity to learn various aspects of Museum Administration and programming. As well, the intern will have an opportunity to work on an ongoing project regarding the development of Long Island City, Queens.
Qualifications:

This position would be ideal for someone in pursuit of a degree in Urban Planning or Community Development. This internship will involve community research in the Long Island City neighborhood.

Strong writing and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently

Relevant coursework in the field of Urban Studies, Museum Management, or other.

Proficiency with Microsoft Operating System

Knowledge of Adobe design software
